4. Prof.Dr.Ir. Ambo Tuwo, DEA
Ambo Tuwo was born in Makassar on November 18th, 1962. He is Bachelor in Fisheries in 1986 at Hasanuddin University, Makassar; Masters Degree on Coastal Resource Management in 1990 and PhD Degree on Marine Ecology in 1993 at Universite de Bretagne Occicentale, Brest, France. He is Lecturer at Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries, Hasanuddin University since 1987, and become Professor in Marine Ecology since 2001. Ambo Tuwo taught some subjects such as Marine Ecology, Marine and Coastal Ecology, Marine Biology, Advance Fisheries Ecology, Coastal and Marine Resource Management, and Environmental Impact Assessment. Ambo Tuwo use to be Chairman of the Marine Science Studies Program, Chairman of the Department of Marine Sciences; Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at the Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries; Chairman of the Marine Management Studies Program; Assistant Director of Planning and Development, Assistant Director of Academic Quality Assurance at the Graduate Program of Hasanuddin University. The present, He is Chairman of the Centre of Excellent for Seaweed Development and Utilizations of Hasanuddin University. Ambo Tuwo has been a team of experts in several coastal and marine resource management activities in government and international agencies or institutions such as Regional Development Agency of South Sulawesi, Coral Reef Evaluation and Management Program (COREMAP), Marine and Coastal Resources Management Program (MCRMP); Island Sustainability Livelihood and Equity Program (ISLE) of Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), and Sea Cucumber Program from FAO Roma. Currently, he is a member Expert Team of Regional Environment Impact Agency in South Sulawesi and several districts in South Sulawesi. As a professional lecturer, Ambo Tuwo is actively involved in various national and international research activities, and has published not less than 60 scientific papers in national and international scientific journals. In addition, He has attended various seminars and workshops related to coastal and marine resource management, and have presented not less than 50 papers at national and international seminars and workshops. 6. Prof.Dr.Akbar Tahir, M.Sc
Akbar Tahir was born in Ujung Pandang on 18th July 1961. He completed undergraduate degree in Environmental Biology at Soedirman University, Purwokerto-Indonesia in 1987, then completed Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Fish Biology at Southwest Polytechnic, Plymouth-UK in 1990, followed with MSc in Marine and Fisheries Science at Aberdeen University, Aberdeen-UK in 1991. He was then continued for PhD degree at Aberdeen University, UK in Fish Immunotoxicology and Diseases under Professor Chris Secombes supervision from 1992-1995. After returned to Indonesia in July 1995, he was assigned as the head of Comparative Biology Laboratory at Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Hasanuddin University. He was then reallocated to Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries (MSF) in 1996, appointed as the head of Marine Microbiology Laboratory (1996-1999) also appointed as Deputy Dean for Student Affairs (1996-2002). After being promoted as Senior Lecturer in 1998, he was the appointed as the Head of Toxicology Laboratory until 2011. He was also assigned as Secretary of International Relation at the MSF Faculty until 2002. Through Unhas Rector’s Decree he was assigned to establish Coral Reef Study Center (CRSC) in 2000 and remaining as the Director of CRSC until 2006. He gained his professorship in Marine Pollution and Ecotoxicology in 2004. He was Regional Director of South Sulawesi Sea Partnership Program (Mitra Bahari, Sulawesi Selatan) from 2002-2004. From 2003-2005 he was the Indonesian Coordinator for Cluster Reef Based Ecosystem pertaining to Indonesia-Germany Research Collaboration of SPICE (Science for the Protection of Indonesia Coastal Ecosystem). At the same years (2003-2005) he was Marine Resource Planner at MCRMP – BAPPEDA South Sulawesi Province. From May 2011 – December 2013 he was Director of Regional Development Planning Board (BAPPEDA) of West Sulawesi Province. In 2014 he was assigned as Secretary of Integrated Laboratory at Hasanuddin University. From May 2014 – present he was a member of Research Team of UNHAS-UC Davis Research Collaboration (Marine Pollution) and Member of Indonesian-French Marine Pollution Working Group. From September 2015-April 2018 he was appointed as Director of LPIU-SALUT UNHAS, PETUAH Consortium Green Prosperity Project, MCA-I (consisted by 7 state universities in Indonesia). As from 2016, he was assigned as Advisor in Marine plastic debris at Coordinating Ministry of Maritime Affairs-GOI. Published several international journals in the fields of Immunotoxicology, Marine Pollution, Marine Natural Products and have presented several scientific papers both domestic and abroad.

10. Dr.Ir. Shinta Werorilangi, M.Sc.
Shinta Werorilangi was born in Makassar on August 26th, 1967. She completed her undergraduate study in Fishery Sciences at Hasanuddin University (Indonesia) in 1990, and continued her Master Degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Department at Oregon State University, USA in 1993. In 2012, she hold a Ph.D in Agricultural Sciences majoring in Marine Science at Posgraduate Program of Hasanuddin University. She has been a lecturer in Marine Science Study Program since 1991 and served as Secretary of Dept.of Marine Science in 1998 to 1999. Since 2013 up to the present, she has been appointed as a head of Marine Ecotoxicology Laboratory. Her research main interests are marine pollution, sediment geochemistry affecting metal pollution, metal bioavailability in marine sediment, toxicity of pollutants to early life of marine organisms, and the distribution and ecological impact of marine plastic debris on the ocean. She has been recently conducted researches on : (i) the acute toxicity of metals, oil, and cyanide on coral and giant clam larval; and (ii) characteristics of metal accumulation in roots and sediment of mangrove from different densities mangrove plants. She published paper on metal bioavailability in seagrass ecosystem (Research Journal of Environmental Toxicology, 2016). She also a co-author of Anthropogenic debris in seafood: Plastic debris and fibers from textiles in fish and bivalves sold for human consumption (Nature, Scientific Report, 2015)
11. Dr. Ir. Abdul Rasyid J., M.Si.
Abd. Rasyid Jalil was born in Makassar 3 March 1965. He finished his B.Sc. in Fisheries Science at the University of Hasanuddin (in 1990) and his master program in Marine Acoustics at the Bogor University of Agriculture (in 1996). He completed his Doctor program in Agricultural at the University of Hasanuddin (in 2011). He is a lecturer at the Marine Science Department Faculty of Marine Science and Fishery University of Hasanuddin since 1991. He is currently served as vice rector for student affairs and alumni University of Hasanuddin since January 2015. He was served many strategy positions such as Vice dean for student affairs at Faculty of Marine Science and Fishery University of Hasanuddin from 2002 to 2010; Special staff of vice rector for student affairs and alumni University of Hasanuddin from 2011 to 2014; and Secretary of Physical Oceanography Laboratory Marine Science Department from 2007 to 2014. The focus of his research are coastal oceanography and marine and coastal ecosystem management. He has been currently conducted research on Mangrove management model in spatial perspective through oceanography condition approach in the Bone gulf and Spermonde Archipelago South Sulawesi. Syafiuddin was born in Ujung Pandang. He completed undergraduate study in Fisheries Science at Hasanuddin University (Indonesia) in 1990, and continued his Master degree in Aquatic Science (Aquaculture) at Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB, Indonesia) in 1997-2000. He completed PhD at the at Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB, Indonesia) in 2010. He is a lecturer and associate professor in the Marine Science Department of Hasanuddin University. He is currently head of Ranching and Rehabilitation Ecosystem Laboratory the Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries since 2014. He was the head of Marine Field Station Units of Faculty of Marine Science from 2003 to 2004 and from 2010 to 2014. His main research interests are: Reproduction of seahorse, hatchery and ranching sea horse, and concervation of seahorse. He has been recently conducted research on (i) Relationship Between The Number Of Eggs Before And After Hydrated In The Male Brood Pouch Seahorse (Hippocampus barbouri), and (ii) Reproductive Patterns Of Sea Horse (Hippocampus barbouri) In The Tanakeke Islands, Takalar District. He published several papers at the national journals and proceedings such as The Effect of Water Level on the Spawning Success of Seahorse, Hippocampus barbouri at the Aquaculture Container (Jurnal Ilmu Kelautan, 2010), The Effect of Broodstock Spawning frequency on Production of Eggs and Juveniles of Seahorse (Hippocampus barbouri) (Proceedings of Coral Reefs Management Symposium on Coral Triangle Area, 2009), The Effect of Pair Replacement on the Spawning Success of Broodstock Seahorse, Hippocampus barbouri (Aquakultur Indonesia, 2011), Histological Structure And Physiological Change Of Broodpouch During Gestatioan Of Male Seahorse (Hippocampus barbouri) (Poceedding of International dan National conference on Marine Science and Fisheries, 2014).
